Having announced former deputy Polamreddy Srinivasa Reddy Kovur as their candidate on Tuesday, Congress plans to rope in senior executives to oversee elections in Kovur. The ruling party is far behind in electioneering compared to its counterparts, TDP and YSRC.

TDP candidate Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and YSRC candidate Nallapareddy Prasannakumar Reddy are thick campaign that parts them reported that candidates shortly after the seat became vacant.
